Colin Turkington – Advice for Drivers

Colin Turkington from Portadown is the former British Touring Car Champion, winning both the 2009 and 2014 title at Brands’ Hatch. He was also named the Independent Drivers Champion at the end of the 2015 BTCC for a record fifth time.

Colin says:

“Speeding is madness on public roads. The margin for error on the public road is less than on the race track where we don’t have oncoming traffic.

On public roads anything can happen. The unexpected is certain – a dog on the road, a tyre blow out, a vehicle around the next bend.”
